Trufle z białą czekoladą i nutellą//White Chocolate and Nutella Truffles(recipe by A Beautiful Mess)

Zrobiłam te trufle w prezencie dla mojej przyjaciółki. Przepis wzięłam z mojego ulubionego bloga A Beautiful Mess. Przetłumaczyłam go na język polski dla swojego własnego użytku, ale okazał się być tak prosty i pyszny, postanowiłam się nim z Wami podzielić. 

Na początku zarzekałam się, że całą kolumnę o gotowaniu oddam Kasi, jednak coraz bardziej zaczynam się do tego przekonywać. Z góry przepraszam za nie do końca profesjonalne tłumaczenie, oraz za zdjęcia, które były robione późnym wieczorem i wczesnym rankiem :)

I made those truffles as a present for my friend and they turned out to be really delicious. The recipe comes from my favourite blog A Beautiful Mess. I translated it into Polish and converted the units for my own needs, but since the truffles were totally delish and I couldn't find a similar recipe in Polish, so I thought I would share this recipe with you.

Składniki: 

 200g białej czekolady

200g gorzkiej czekolady

1 łyżka masła

1/4 szklanki śmietany 36%

1/3 szklanki Nutelli

1 łyżka oleju

płatki czekoladowe(opcjonalne)

 W garnku do gotowania na parze lub w szklanej misce ustawionej nad gotującą się wodą rozpuścić gorzką czekoladę, masło, śmietanę i nutellę.

Następnie zdjąć z ognia i ostudzić. Przykryć i wstawić do lodówki na dwie godziny. Jeżeli zostawisz miksturę w lodowce przez więcej niż 2 godziny, najprawdopodobniej stanie się zbyt twarda do formowania. Najlepiej pozwól jej zastygać w temperaturze pokojowej, tak długo, jak to możliwe.

Użyj łyżkę(lub łyżkę do lodów) aby uformować kulki. Polecam pokrycie łyżki i rąk kakaem, aby ciasto było łatwiejsze do formowania i nie przyklejało się do łyżki. Gdy wszystkie trufle będą gotowe, wstaw je do zamrażalnika na 5-10 minut.

W tym czasie rozpuść w naczyniu żaroodpornym białą czekoladę i olej. Wstaw je do mikrofalówki na 30 sekund na najwyższych obrotach, następnie wymieszaj – powtarzaj tą czynność aż czekolada się rozpuści. Zamocz każdą truflę w rozpuszczonej czekoladzie, aby pokryć ją otoczką z białej czekolady, następnie umieść ją na papierze do pieczenia. 

Na koniec możesz również posypać trufle płatkami czekoladowymi. Daj im zastygnąć przez noc lub włóż je do zamrażalnika na 30 minut.

Te trufle będą idealnym pomysłem na prezent świąteczny i nie tylko!

Weekend Getaway(by Zuza)

Yesterday I took a  little trip to the mountains which was really lovely. The place we headed to wasn't actually that far from the city, but the atmosphere, the air and the people made it seem like it was sytuated on another planet.

My lovely best friend - without her this day wouldn't be half as much fun!

Tv Style: Jane by Design(by Zuza)

Jane by Design to był mój ulubiony serial 2 lata temu, niestety został zdjęty z anteny, kilka dni temu postanowiłam na nowo oglądnąć niektóre z moich ulubionych odcinków - to zainspirowało mnie do napisania tej notki na blogu.

Serial opowiada o Jane Quimby"uczennicy liceum, dostała pracę w nowojorskim domu mody Donnavan Decker, kiedy przez przypadek została wzięta za dorosłego. Teraz prowadzi dwa  życia - jedno w liceum, a drugie w świecie mody.

This used to be one of my favourite tv shows 2 years ago, unfortunately it got cancelled, but few days ago I decided to rewatch a couple of my favourite episodes and that's how I got inspired to write this blog post :)

This show was all about Jane Quimby a "high school student who got a job at Donovan Decker, a fashion house in New York, when they mistake her for an adult. Now she has to juggle to secret lives one in high school and one in high fashion."

Styl Jane zmienia się w zależności, czy znajduje się właśnie w szkole(z elementami vintage) czy w pracy(elegancki). W obu przypadkach opiera się na kolorach i fakturach ubrań.

 Jane's style changes depending on whether she is in school(vintage inspired) or in work(glamorous and sophisticated). In both cases with her it is all about textures and colours.

 Whenever Jane has something important going on at work, she always dresses black (just like a super agent - Hahaha sorry, that sounds really wrong and weird). Her outfits are never boring, that is for sure!

Memories from England: Leeds Castle(by Zuza)

Czas, który spędziłam w Londynie, był cudowny, jednak dniem, który najbardziej mi się podobał, był ten, który spędziliśmy w Zamku Leeds. To miejsce jest wprost magiczne, sam budynek nie jest zbyt duży, jednak wystrój wnętrz zapiera dech w piersiach. Tego dnia mogliśmy uciec od tego całego gwaru wielkiego miasta(który zwykle uwielbiam, jednak ten dzień relaxu, był jak najbardziej potrzebny), a więc leżeliśmy na trawie i łapaliśmy ostatnie promyki słońca(jako że następnego dnia zaczęło padać), spacerowaliśmy po pięknych ogrodach, próbowaliśmy lodów o smaku Kentish honey (pycha!), próbowaliśmy się zgubić w labiryncie(co tak naprawdę było dosyć trudne, ponieważ był on bardzo mały, jednak mi udało się to zrobić 3 razy). Amosfera tego miejsca była bardzo spokojna i relaksująca, pogoda była przepiękna(jedynym minusem było to, że strasznie wiało, a tego dnia założyłam sukienkę, więc miałam z tym malutki problem :D)

 

I loved my time in London, but the day I enjoyed the most was the one we spent in Leeds Castle which was truly enchanting. The building itself is not very big, but the interiors are amazing (a bit of retro is something I adore). Our day consisted of laying on the grass, sunbathing, walking around most amazing gardens, eating the best Kentish honey flavoured ice cream, trying to get lost in the maze(which as everyone said was really hard to do, because it was really small, but somehow I managed to do that 3 times and I had difficulties in getting out :)). The atmosphere of this place was so relaxing, the weather was perfect(only it was a bit too windy and since that day I wore a dress that became a problem :D)

 

 Wish I could get back to this place!

5 reasons why I am exicted for my London trip (by Zuza)

Hi there! I hope your summer is just magnificent. Now that I'm finally back home after about 3 weeks... I'm leaving again. Not gonna lie - I've missed my sleeping in my own bed, but hey! I'll have whole school year to do that. Right now I'm just open to adventures and full of energy :) I can't belive that in 3 days I'll be in London. This would be my 3rd trip to England, and second to its capital. Unfortunately last time I was there, I didn't visit all the places I wanted to and since London is such an amazing city I decided to go back and do all the things I haven't done last time.

Hej. Mam nadzieję, że Wasze wakacje są jak najbardziej udane. Kiedy wreszcie wróciłam do domu po trzech tygodniach nieobecności... znowu wyjeżdżam. Nie będę kłamać, stęskniłam się trochę za spaniem we własnym łóżku, ale kiedy myślę o tym, że będę miała cały kolejny rok szkolny, aby to robić, od razu doceniam możliwość podróżowania :)  Nie mogę uwierzyć, że za 3 dni będę w Londynie. Nie mogę się doczekać tej wycieczki, jest tyle rzeczy, które pragnęłabym zrobić, a 5 z nich przedstawiłam poniżej:

1. Last time I was in London I had my old digital camera with me, which got broken during this thip. This was a nightmare, I had to take most of the photograps with my phone and the quality was horryfing. This year my parents gave me a suprise present for my birthday - a brand new Nikon. I was saving up for it, but to be honest I didn't even have half of the money it costed, so I was so happy when I recived it and since then it is my absolute essential.

2. I love reading books and since I'm trying to practise my English as much as possible(writing blog posts is also a way of practising it), I try to read all of them in English. In my home tow there are not many places where I can buy those books and generally they are really expensive. I tried buying ebooks on the internet, but what can I say I'm a bit old-fashioned, I love having paper versions of them. Last time when I was in England I bought 10 new books and this year I hope to buy more :)

P.S. Wow, I think I sound like a reall maniac, but thats just how things are :)

3. I don't think this needs a comment :) Black hat, flats, brown hat, striped t-shir: TOPSHOP

4. Lateley I've become quite a fan of this show and I'm sure going to visit Doctor Who shop in London :)

5. The latst but for me most important thing. When you go to a different place/country it is not about the goods you purchase, I think it is all about what you see, learn and who you meet. I would be perfectly happy without buying another pair of shoes that will someday wear out and be replaced with other ones, but nothing can replace the memories of the new places I will discovered, new faces I will see, new things I will learn.

It's funny to look back on how things have changed. Now some people would kill to have a type of figure similar to the one on the left. Back in the days women just wanted to expose their curves. Now the image of beauty popularized by the models and the fashion  world is that it's better to not have curves at all. Still I think that nowadays it's better than a few years ago.
